Socialise The Right Way

Hi I'm Ruth

I have friends who are sociopaths, and as I realize that, I really want to say something about it so that people can avoid being sociopaths.

So today, I'm going to share my own view of how to socialise the right way. It's my view, I repeat, therefore you do not need to criticize, but only read and hopefully you can gain something from it.

When one person is really good enough, people's views, the people around that person, will eventually change to accept him.

So do not think that you're a weirdo in their eyes and forever will be, because you will not.

Also, stop judging yourself and others. We do not, and will not have the rights to judge others even after we judge ourselves.

When you have random enemies, it's common and you can say that it's not your fault, it's their brain system's problems that find you weird, but if nearly everyone around you finds you weird you just have to rethink what's actually wrong with yourself and improve.

Not change. Just improvise and eventually it will get better.

Sometimes friends in real life can teach you more than an internet ones can, and friends in real life see you as you really are (unless you act in front of them), so internet friends cannot really judge you accordingly.

You might not be a sociopath here in the internet, but maybe over there in real life, you are.

Or maybe over there you aren't a sociopath either, but you just treat the bad people equally.

However, life shouldn't be like that. If people are bad to us, as Jesus once said, if someone slaps your left cheek, you let them slap the right cheek too. And if someone asks you to walk a mile, walk two miles. Show them that you're good to them even if they treat you badly.

Eye for eye and tooth for tooth doesn't work. It won't bring peace but hate, yes, and war.

So even if they are bad towards you, treat them nicely. You might say that it would seem so fake that you're treating them nicely even when you hate them, but in reality, when you treat them nicely, you are trying to diffuse the hate into no more hate.

Kill them with kindness, as Selena Gomez says. But no, you won't kill them with kindness. They might heal and be a better person because of your kindness. And wouldn't that be better? In a way, you killed their bad former selves with kindness. I guess that was what she meant by killing people with kindness.

So, try to just improvise by smiling at everyone, talking to everyone, not showing a grumpy face, helping others no matter you think they're using you or not, and be a happy person.

You will have more friends like that. True friends or not, it doesn't matter, because when you have a lot of friends, one or two will always show up to be a true friend. If you only have a few, maybe one day it will turn out that you have no true friends.

Plus, when you help people, you certainly feel happy. Even if they're using you, you actually completed their work and accomplished something amazing that they can't even do, or are lazy to do. Feel good about that and forget that they're using you.

I don't say this based on nothing because I do this sometimes. And in school, I'm really happy.

The fake people, when they smile, you think to yourself, "Damn, bad people."

But what if you just think that their smiles are sincere? That'll make your day better.

I'm not asking you to lower down your defences, but asking you to think more positively, so that you'll be a happy person, and being happy, attracts people. That's how you avoid being a sociopath.

Even people like me, I don't know jokes, but helping every single person I can, it makes me feel happy, and it also makes me well known among people.

People will be like, "Oh, this person can help you, and it doesn't matter whether you're close to him or not, for he'll always try his best."

And when you know how to joke, it's better. You help them, and you talk to them, serving jokes, keeping the awkward mood happy and light, and then, eventually, you will have friends.

Don't avoid anyone. Sometimes, even weird people can serve to be the best of friends. Even people you think are bad from first sight. Because many people believe in what goes around comes around, and when you help them, they'll try to find a way to help you back, or they won't give you trouble, at least, or else their conscience wouldn't sit still.

In this case, you learn, a friend in need is a friend indeed.

People are always asking for help, and the least you can do is listen. So listen.

Be selfless. Be a pacifier.

I hope this helps. Thank you for reading this. Have a nice day.

A good relationship

Hi there.

There has been plenty of things that keep going in my mind lately and I'm just going to have to share it, and it depends on you whether you want to argue and give me new ways of thinking below in the comments. You're all welcome to comment out loud. Don't keep them thoughts to rot inside you! :)

What does a good relationship mean to you?
What do we need for a good relationship to form between humans?

Okay, maybe relationship this word is too wide a subject, so let us limit it to just friendships first and then to more if I have the time to complete this topic.

For some people, friendships are give and take. You only befriend a person that benefits you and in turn, you give them benefits.

This is not wrong, but the way of thinking in that kind of friendship is a little, crooked. If you only befriend people that benefit you, it means that you don't befriend people that don't benefit you. Then what are friends for? Aren't they supposed to be helping in times of need, and you will repay them when you're in a good situation?

Okay. So that thought needs some change. It becomes, you befriend people even if they aren't benefiting you, because who knows one day they can benefit you in some ways as a repay?

Now look at the previous pharagraph again. Do you realise something?

Yes. This is what they teach children nowadays in their bedtime stories. You help the fairy whose wings are torn (the fairy doesn't benefit you now) so that one day when you're drowning the fairy will wave her wand and save you (a repay).

But is that way of thinking right? This may be a good way of teaching children to be selfless, but it isn't exactly selfless. And because of these, friendships nowadays have problems because the meaning of selflessness that people perceive as the base of friendships isn't the true meaning of it.

The true meaning of selflessness is to help someone, anyone, without asking for any payback, without even wishing for payback.

That is one of the most important base to every friendship.

A good friendship also needs trust. When that trust is broken, the friendship would be also broken, and it would be very hard to be mended. But before you have trust, you need understanding and acceptance.

You need understanding in a friendship, but usually you don't see that. We cannot ever say that we understand someone, no matter what circumstance they are in because it would never ever be a hundred percent the same as our experience and most of the times, we don't even understand our own selves, so since when do we understand that other person? And even if they don't say it, I bet that the second we say we understand them, their inner voices would say, "No one will ever understand me."

Except God. God understands all. But we aren't talking about Him right now, so shush.

So what do we do if we can't understand our friends? We listen to them venting out their feelings and troubles, and we accept them as who they are. We shouldn't ever unfriend them or leave them just because "we don't understand each other". Instead, we should accept them, putting our trust in them, and continue helping them selflessly.  Therefore, acceptance is a form of understanding.

One more thing, we shouldn't ever judge anyone in any friendship. This is because, when we judge them, our brain will give us negative feed backs. The distance between us and the other person will become further the more we judge, without us knowing. Besides, we never know when people are also judging us and it just might make the friendship even worse.

By accepting, it means accepting every single thing that is weird, nice and bad about our friends. Don't ever think of changing them. Change ourselves instead, change ourselves to accept them, and then nothing will be a problem, and nothing can stand a barrier between us and our friends.

For an example, I had a friend that was so talkative that he never did let anyone talk for any long periods of time. It was getting annoying and I would really have liked to ask him to change, and rebuke him and tell him about it, but hey, accept, right? So I didn't. And guess what? He eventually realised his mistake and he changes on his own.

Isn't  it better to let friends change on their own rather than nagging them or thinking about their weird habits behind their back or even talking about it? Well, of course you can give a piece of advice, but always remember that we need not give too many. It might be the reason your friendship is ruined. You'll never know.

Maybe it's good for them to change, and they should change, yes, but even if they don't change, you should have already love them the way they are.

Be with them through all their troubles. Be their companion. Be there for them, even if they don't open up to you. Even if they don't care about you, you can always care about them behind the scenes. Remember, love doesn't need any paybacks. This is what we should all do for our friends, the meaning of a friend.

And only when the whole world understand this, friendships will be pure and true, with no lies and no betrayals.

The same goes with any relationships. Do the best you can for everyone. Only when you have done your best, you can leave this world without any regrets, saying that your love for people is pure. We do not need any appreciation even after we spend everything on people. We just need to do so, and be happy with it. It depends on people to decide whether to appreciate us, and we do not need to ask for it.

It is not wrong for people to appreciate each other, but it is a little wrong for people to want appreciation, even if you don't see it. You might say that after all the hard work you do, you deserve to be appreciated, but it is actually not for you to judge. Remember, if you truly deserve appreciation, you do not need to want it or wish for it or hope for it to have it, because you already have it, and always will have it.

Water for people, Water by people.

Hi I'm Ruth and I am very glad to say that after a long year, I'm back. Love you all.

I would like to remind you that everything written on my blog is ORIGINAL. And by ORIGINAL, it means that none of these are copied from any other websites except for two posts that I had mentioned in its own post, Orion and Amanda Todd.

You might have read some of my writings here and there, but note this. It will never be the same. Only hypocrites will want to accuse me of copying because everybody learn knowledge from people and thus knowledge is passed from age to age, or you can say, copied. But that's knowledge. You need to copy it to gain it. Or gain it and recopy it to pass it to someone else. I'm very glad to declare that I have done no reference while writing this post. It is 100% straight from my brain.

Okay so let's start with the topic.

Water For People, Water By People.

The basic informations of water are these. It is made up of molecules, each molecule containing two hydrogen atom and one oxygen atom. Water can be existing in three forms, solid, liquid and gas. Water has a boiling point of 100°C, and a freezing and melting point of 0°C, on one condition, that is, it being pure water. Or you can say, distilled water.

Water helps the world to live. Water is the condition for the world to live. Do you agree? No? Try surviving without water. That's a challenge. Try, try, try. Try as you may, without water, you will cease to exist.

Take a desert for an example. If you say the nomads live without water, I can tell you that you are wrong. Why so? There are oasis in the deserts. And the nomads, they find them, and they live there. In the oasis, there will always be floras and faunas, because for them, a place with water is heaven, and a place without water is hell. So is water for people.

People need water to survive. Take Africa for an example. The mass of people that die there every single day is intriguing, horrifying, and makes us think. It makes us think of the reasons why the deaths happen. One of the major reasons is the lack of water. Cast your eyes on the rural areas of Africa. You won't see deserts, but you will see wastelands. That is what I call it. A dry, hard, wasteland. The ground yellow and hard with hardly any plant growing on it, the vast land stretching far and wide, all dry. Have you seen any touching pictures with African children and a stream? No. You only see them, hungry, starved, and thirsty, with their lives hanging onto a thread. Even the little water they have aren't clean water. Water, people, they need water!

So you see that water is important for survival. I have heard that without food, you can survive for seven days without dying but without water, you may only survive for three days. I do not know whether that is completely true as there will always be exceptions, and I would not like to experiment it for it is a matter of life and death. But there is a logical theory behind it. If you are a biology student, you get what I mean, but if you are not, I'm going to explain it now.

Water is in every part of humans' body. Our body needs 70 percent of water in order to work properly. Every cell contains water because water is used for metabolism, frankly, every single process in the body needs water. We lose water with things we do such as sweating and urinating. So, we need to drink water to replenish our stock of water in our bodies. Even if we do not do so, water will still go out of our bodies because we need to excrete. The body's function is to make us remain healthy and to make us healthy the body will excrete toxins, and that needs water. Imagine excretion of toxics without water. I bet the toxics will get stuck, not get out, because of no water to smooth its way out.

If there is no continuance of water replenishing, the cells will contract. When it contracts until it cannot contract anymore, it will go through a process called crenation. Then, it will die. Do you want to know how it happens? It is easy. Take a balloon and fill it with water. Then, release the water bit by bit. You will see the balloon getting smaller, and in the end, flat with no water. Cells are a bit more complicated than no water, though. Cells die when it has not enough water. Now look at this matter again. A human body is made up of more than a billion cells. Cells form tissues, tissues form organs, organs form systems, and a combination of systems form the body. Every single cell needs water. Without water, they die.

Now, imagine all the cells dying at the same time.

You get the image, right? Now again, look at this. The whole world is alive because of living things and because of humans that run the world. Living things are made up of cells. Without water, cells die. Without water, living things die. Without water, humans die.

Now, imagine every living thing and human dead because of no water.

How horrifying it is if water does not exist! Living things move. Without movement, the Earth is a dead planet. What about the electronic gadgets? They move. Yes, they do. But have you ever heard of maintenance? They need maintenance in order to move forever. Yet you know that maintenance is made by humans. And when all is dead, no one is there to do the maintenance. One by one, they would get broken and fail to work. They would rust, and they would cease to exist. In short, nothing is forever without water. No light except for the sun. No life. A gray, dark world with no life.

I have been pressuring that water is important for survival and life. Now, I will talk about how water is important to give us a good life.

Water is used in daily life. Aside from providing the body's needs, water is used to clean everything from our hands to the floormat that hasn't been washed for years. Water is used to water plants so that when they grow, they will bear fruit for our food, or they will bear flowers that eases the eyes of the beholders. Water is used to retain the life of animals, so that none of them would die of the lack of water, and so that they will become fattened and served as a dish on the table. Water is used for the generation of hydroelectricity. Water is used in waterparks to provide fun for people. Water is the habitat of fishes and coral reefs. Basically, everything needs water. Water, is the definition of a balanced ecosystem.

However, people do not fully appreciate the water that God has given us. Somehow, no matter whether it is intended or not, people manage to pollute water. We do not have any idea on how precious water is, and we never had thought about what if there will be no more clean water in this world. We take water for granted, as we have never went through trouble for water, or we forget about the trouble they went through for water. We, as humans of the world are too blinded by money to care about the quality of water. We think that we will always have clean water forever.

Take agriculture for an example. Agriculture is a major earning business because people's food comes from plants. The agriculture companies think of how to solve their productivity problem to gain more money everyday. They think, but not really, because they only take short cuts and never care about other things except of their own greed. The short cuts are giving the plants chemical fertilisers and poisonous and toxic pesticides so that they could grow fast, well, and without the disturbance of pests. And when they do so, the harmful chemical substances goes through the soil and to water sources, polluting them and endangering the marine life and also himans indirectly when people buy the marine animals.  They could have done anything other than destroying clean water sources but they did not. And they will not, for their eyes are blinded.

The same goes to the factories which produce toxins and take the shortcut to get rid of them by dumping them into rivers. Even people who live in housing areas, they dump their rubbish into the river. People who are reading this, if you do the action that I mentioned earlier, I would like to ask you, do you honestly think that throwing rubbish into the river means a successful way of getting rid of them? Do you not know that this will only lead to the jamming of flowing water besides polluting it? Even if the rubbish flows to the sea, the turtles will mistake them for jellyfishes and eat them and die, causing the extinction of turtlekind, besides polluting the sea.

Thus, water sources decrease each and every year drastically. There are hardly anymore clean rivers and seas, and one day, there might be no more clean water for all of us. On that day, I believe that no matter how far menkind try to clean the water up, the water will only be too polluted to be cleansed and people will just have to accept how it is and drink to their deaths.

If you're reading this and you swear that you're not this kind of people, then I thank you, and please continue and send this link to every other person in this world and pass the message, water is important for people, water should be preserved by people.

If you're reading this and you are this kind of people, then I beg you, do change for the sake of our future generations, and pass the message around too.

I hope my efforts are not useless, and that I can wake people up from their blinded universe, and start to think for others and themselves.

Thank you.
